I believe this place used to be great, and it probably was. Unfortunately, when we signed a contract, the wheels started falling off of this place. After Signature, by contract definition, abandoned our project, there was over $50,000 of work unrendered. We were extremely patient and gracious with Robin. Unfortunately, the stalling persisted. Once we started realizing that we were writing checks to Signature and the subcontractors weren’t being paid, we demanded our money be returned. We even had a mechanics lien threatened on our home due to the fact that our money was clearly not going directly to the subcontractors. She claimed they were, but we know how to match up emails with check stub dates. We’re not stupid. We were lied to multiple times regarding whether they were paid, and given false status updates on multiple material orders. After being told that our backsplash was back-ordered, we called the supplier that we had been working with directly. She said, “we have plenty, there is over 4000sq/ft in our warehouse.” At the end of the day, we ended up getting a small percentage of our money back after an incomplete project and a gaping hole in our wall leading to the attic that we were forced to cover-up ourselves. Unfortunately, we had to threaten a lawsuit in order to get some scraps back. Somehow, Robin made it seem like this was a big inconvenience for her. We gave her a great deal on repaying her debt, and she either responded with large communication gaps, or flat-out rudeness. In fact, I’ve never communicated with someone so dense and rude in my life. I’m not sure if she simply doesn’t know what she’s doing, or if this is deliberate. Nor am I sure which one is worse. Either way, you’ve been warned. Steer clear.

A year ago we used Signature Home Services to remodel our master bathroom. It turned out so well that we used them again for our total kitchen remodel this summer. Rob was able to take our requests for more storage space and a less crowded kitchen and turn it into a beautifully functional space that we are loving every day. Everyone who has seen it is amazed at the transformation! Jack and Mike, our onsite workers, were wonderful. They were responsive to any questions we had, did quality work, and were capable of handling any little problem that materialized. We are very happy with all the work done by Signature Home Services.

My experience with Signature Home Services turned out to be excellent. The project we needed done was the installation of a railing on the stairs leading up to our home from the sidewalk to the front door. The materials were ordered from C&R Railing. While the price seemed fair and they seemed to offer support - brochures, access to installation videos, review of the pictures of our stairs and a sketch the prepared indicating what the finished project should look like when first installed it did not look like their sketch and the railing segments did not line up. Our handy man Daniel did a remarkable job with the project despite the lack of support from the manufactures. Complicating the installation was the fact that he worked alone 100 plus degree heat. There were 16 holes that he drilled in the concrete. I later determined that it too about 15 to 20 minutes to drill each hole. Despite the intense heat he stayed at it until completed. I went back to adjust the height of the post but cutting the ones that were too tall. I wrote a note to the management of Signature Home Services indicating that I was not happy with the project. A manager Austin called me back and arranged to send Daniel back to relocate one of the posts. We discovered on the return visit that it is possible to drill holes in concrete in about 2 minutes with an impact drill. Daniel also installed over size expansion bolts for extra strength on the post that he moved. Overall, I am now satisfied with the results but would caution anyone attempting a project like this to get detailed instructions and support from the manufacturer and supervise the whole process carefully. I am happy to recommend Signature Home Services and look forward to using them again Robert Wyatt

I’m a repeat customer because Daniel does excellent repair work. He is honest, efficient, and pleasant. Yesterday he attached artwork to a frame and hung it on the wall. Changed lightbulbs that were too high for me. Signature Home Services, his employer, is the business to call.
