(I shared this on Facebook but wanted others to know how we feel as well) Tears today as I officially unenroll Moses from School of Rock Naples. Casey, Jason, Sara, Kobyn, and the entire team at SOR took a young kid who was hurting, depressed, even suicidal….and they poured their time and effort into him. He started there a kid who loved his drums…but a kid who didn’t know what else he was capable of. Moses has always been anxious and struggled with self confidence. The team at school of rock took him under their wings and gave him the courage to branch out. Moses now plays drums, guitar, bass, and the most shocking of all, vocals. I honestly didn’t know if he would have the confidence to ever get behind a mic…and now because of school of rock…he isn’t just playing around with vocals, he fronts his very own metal band. The growth I’ve seen in his dedication and drive, his confidence, and his stage presence is incredible. None of this would be possible without SOR. We visited different music schools before joining SOR…and they were all great…but they just weren’t the right fit for Moses. When he joined SOR, Jason knew moses could play…but he knew he needed someone to look up to…someone who was doing what Moses dreamed to one day do. So..he linked Kobyn (Insite) and Moses for instruction which was the best match possible. Moses learned so much from him and saw a guy alot like him…making his dreams come true. The whole team really embraced Moses and when he needed friends not just instructors, they stepped up to the plate, and for that I am forever grateful. I had hoped to see Moses join the house band and continue even further with school of rock but just like the byrds said…to every season…turn turn turn. Moses is ready to take the next step and he now wishes to focus soley on his music with Medusa, as well as continue searching for stable income as he is graduating early this year. Im going to miss school of rock greatly, but i look forward to supporting them in the future and cheering them on from the audience. If you have a kiddo who loves music, tapping their pencils on the desk, a kiddo who can’t seem to sit still, a kiddo who really needs something to dedicate their time and passion too…I strongly recommend school of rock. Also if you homeschool and use step up, they are direct providers now. Thank you school of rock…I truly believe you saved my son. ❤️

Shout out to the School of Rock band that visited our country club this past weekend. We were given a first class performance by these skilled musicians. I managed to speak with one of the parents and you could sense the pride they have in their child and the program. Loved it...I would see you perform again.

As an adult I never thought about starting a musical adventure- but I did, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. Everyone is so welcoming and the staff is super talented. My lessons and rehearsal time is the highlight of my week! I love the School of Rock Naples!
