We had a great tapas like meal at the new and approved Roost. The tuna tartar was the star of the show along with the wedge salad which was delicious and perfectly refreshing. We also had the coconut firecracker shrimp and the truffle fries. Some great honorable mentions. The atmosphere was spectacular! A great spot to enjoy Thursday or Friday evening music in Noma square and the service was spot on. I would highly recommend to any local or visitor. It’s a great highlight of good food in a beautiful space. Ohh and I must not forget about the drinks; they make a mean Aperol spritz and I tried their bubbles and berries which was perfectly balanced and smooth.

Came for restaurant week but will be back. Food was amazing! Best potato soup, especially soaked up with some bread. Chicken was juicy, proscuttio was crisped to perfection. Firecracker shrimp was delicious. Our server Chad was serving several tables at the same time but maintained such a calm demeanor. Very smooth, and had a great personality. Also the restaurant itself was beautiful. Loved the chairs. Also enjoyed watching the open kitchen.

Aside from the stellar vibe, food and drinks, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the star of the show- our bartender Bobby. A consummate professional, super engaging, knowledgeable and really just a fun, super nice guy from the moment we first walked in the door yesterday afternoon. So great a time we had with him, we came back later for our unbelievable delicious dinner! We were visiting for a quick getaway from Savannah, and I can promise we'll be looking for him each and every time we come back. He's a tremendous asset to this establishment! Please tell him Gwen and Gary miss him already!

5 stars all around for incredible service, food, and environment. Grady aka Greggy aka someone give this guy a raise, was beyond exceptional in their flawless recommendations, parings, & attentiveness. Just an absolute delight. The maple and fig old fashion was perfection. Grady ended up being 5/5 with all their suggestions. Feeling safer in the hands of Grady’s expertise than with State Farm, we were able to enjoy our time without any concerns or issues. If you heard a ton of laughter and fun, it was our table living our best life while savoring every delicious bite. It was so good I forgot to take pics of the rest of the meal. I look forward to our next meal at Roost!

What a gem! I’ve lived in Greenville for over a year and never been here. This is now one of my favorite spots for so many reasons. The vibe, outdoor area, food, service, bar area. Everything was top notch. We ordered the brussel sprouts and pork loin roast. Absolutely delicious. The pork was so tender and the brussel sprouts were so flavorful. I am so impressed by all the different options Greenville has to offer. But The Roost Free Range is definitely at the top! Don’t pass this place up!
