Stopped in here for the first time to pick up a few things on the way home and this Publix is really nice! Layout is great, lots of space in here, self check out and even a second floor to go eat your lunch or dinner! Very impressed!
Publix is always clean, bright and will kept. The layout makes sense and the food quality is excellent. We visit this location at least once a month. All employees seem to be happy and enjoy their jobs.
I think everyone was having a bad day on Friday 04/03/26. Before someone says, go back to Florida, this Publix's service is nothing like the ones in Florida. Granted, I found everything I needed/wanted, when I belted my items, I wasn't greeted. After a minute, I asked how they were doing and with a low dull, no eye contact tone an OK response was muttered. After paying and the bagger let me know where my eggs were, I wished them a great evening and again, very unenthusiastic, thank you. I think the bagger was actually friendlier than the cashier. Other than that, I liked the store and the cleanliness of the aisles and the parking lot. Another note, I found some mayonaise that expired in Jan. 2026, Just saying. Love SC!! Let's work on some friendly customer service Publix. :-)
After a visit to Bath and Body Works at Cherrydale Point, I stopped by Publix Supermarket at University Square. This store replaced the old store which is next to the new and improved Publix. It’s a really nice store with nice and friendly people working there. The hot food bar has a big variety of foods, baked chicken, fried shrimp, fried cod, fried chicken tenders, corn, Mac and cheese, turnip greens just to name a few. They have the sushi station, and the deli on the opposite side for you deli meat selections. I plan on visiting this location again, when I’m in the area.
Love publix store in general but this one has a great bie of Paris mountain. The deli area is different than other stores and seems to be friendlier to quick sandwich pick up or to go meals.
