Moreau was my technician and he was outstanding. Exceeded expectations. He went above and beyond to do the job right even though he had to stay until 9pm to finish. He was cordial and friendly the entire time and was kind to my kids as well. Exceptional job. If I could leave more than 5 stars in a review, I would.

Was told the tech would be here between 12 and 4. Arrived at 5:40. Needed to repair a leaking valve in the toilet tank, which I’d bought a new gasket for. The water would not turn off at the valve behind the toilet. He said he’d have to turn off the water and flush the house. Made it seem like a big deal. Then “rebuilt “ the tank as well as replace the gasket in the line to the wall. He quoted me $643.00 with my 5% discount. After I paid he emailed the invoice. $299 of the bill was for turning off the water at the street and turning on an outside faucet. He made it sound like a big deal when he quoted me. I called the office for an explanation and was told the manager didn’t have time to speak to me but would call by the end of the day. Didn’t happen. I think $299 to turn off the water is completely overpriced and should have been part of the $299 I was charged for the valve fix. My son showed the bill to a plumber who had done work for his company and they said this should have been $350 max. That’s also what I found on the internet once I saw the little work he did. Should have called another company to get a comparison quote. Beware their pricing. Also he only replaced part of the tank innards. Called it a tank rebuild. Update: After seeing their response, I emailed the address they posted. That was 3 days ago and there has still not been a response. I didn't call them again, as they never called back from my first call. So, still no response to the price.

Dominic arrived at the expected time and began work shortly thereafter. He was friendly and respectful. Before he started work, he advised me that the heater he would be installing was taller than the one being replaced and assured me that it would not be a problem. He began his work and finished in a much shorter time frame than I anticipated. Once completed, he cleaned the work area then called me over to see the completed work and to explain certain features that were not on the previous heater, and to advise me that a company representative would return in a year to followup with rountine maintenance. He gave me the warranty paperwork and invited me to contact the company if I had problems. I appreciate Dominic's attitude. While professional, it was also personable. He was very courteous and easy to talk to. Should I need this type service again, I hope the Ben Franklin Company will send Dominic back. Totally satisfied, Mary Gibson-Worlds Seffner, Florida
