If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian comfort food, Liliha Bakery absolutely delivers. From breakfast to dinner, every dish we tried was packed with flavor and generous portions. Their bakery and restaurant have been a local favorite since 1950, and it's easy to see why. The Loco Moco was the standout. The hamburger patty was juicy, the fried eggs were perfectly cooked, and the rich brown gravy tied everything together over flavorful fried rice. Every bite was the definition of comfort food. The mixed breakfast plate with grilled steak, fluffy omelet, rice, and fresh salad was simple but perfectly executed. The steak was tender with a great char, and the eggs were light and buttery. The fried chicken plate had an incredibly crispy, golden crust while staying juicy inside. Paired with macaroni salad, rice, and sweet corn, it was a classic Hawaiian plate lunch done right. The burger was another surprise favorite. Thick, juicy, and loaded with fresh toppings on a soft bun, with crispy seasoned potatoes that were impossible to stop eating. We also started with a bowl of their creamy clam chowder, which was rich, smooth, and full of comforting flavor. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the quality of the food made it clear why Liliha Bakery is a Hawaii staple. Whether you're craving breakfast, lunch, dinner, or one of their famous baked treats, this is a place that's well worth the visit. Overall: 5/5 ⭐️ – Delicious food, generous portions, and authentic local flavors. Liliha Bakery is definitely a restaurant we'll be coming back to on our next trip to Hawaii.

Great breakfast. Loco moco with white rice was to much food for me and I'm a big guy. The gravy and rice was fantastic. Wife got the NY strip and eggs. Very good. Looking at coming back again during our trip.

Came up as a must try while in Waikiki but it was very average. I only got the cream puff which is supposedly the best seller… the pastry was kinda dry & the filling tasted artificial & too sweet. Was very thick too. Perhaps I am spoilt by the fantastic custard we have in the uk… kinda wish I tried the donut instead

I got a dozen of variety of malasadas and they are all so good 👍 The staff was very helpful and respectful when I asked various questions regarding the sweet products. Malasadas are not very popular in Vancouver where I live and only in Hawaii I got the chance to taste this sugary treat. Here's a tip when bringing malasadas home on a 6-hr flight. Wrap the original box in plastic or in a ziplock and handle it with care in your hand-carry. It's going to lose the sugar dusting but the taste remains the same. Serve immediately 😁 My personal favorite is the unassuming mochi bite.

Food was amazing! Went there for lunch and sat outside. My kids could not stop talking about how delicious the pancakes (2 stack) were. I’ve never heard them talk so much about food like that!😆 Food was fresh, large portions. Service was great They try to keep The birds off the patio by cleaning the tables quickly. They should get the hanging mirror bird deterrents that look like art. Highly recommend this place
