A Naperville favorite of ours, we always order the beef hot rock, but every appetizer so far has been delicious. The best sushi and nigiri/sashimi I’ve tried in the area, with some picks like uni that you won’t easily find elsewhere. There’s a very nice ambiance inside, and the waiters are always delightful. It does get tremendously busy though— reserve in advance if you do not want to postpone dinner by 2 hours.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill is a lively place to hang out in Downtown Naperville, especially on weekends when it’s almost always packed. The happy hour from opening until 6:30 is a nice deal if you want to try a variety of sushi and drinks. The atmosphere is fun and the location has a nice view of downtown. The only downside for me is that the sushi portions are pretty small for the price. Still a great spot to meet friends and enjoy the vibe.

We had a surprise party for my husband's birthday with a large group. I called several times with questions and concerns and every time they were friendly and very helpful! Our server that night was attentive and patient and had a great attitude! They even handled our cake well and lit it and cut it for us! Definitely would recommend!

I’ve had a great time every visit to Blue Sushi. I would definitely start with the shishito peppers and a tuna tower. We got a San Marcos Maki roll which was pretty spicy and delicious. Our favorite was the specialty Nigiri. I am obsessed with the Cherry Bomb. Itchy Salmon hit the spot as well. Their Miso soup was a bit different from what I’m used to which was pleasantly surprising. We also had the Tataki Maki and Lion King rolls which were nice and crispy.
