Had the best experience at Art In the Cape! We were a bridal shower group of 11 women and we all loved creating our own art pieces together. Lorna (the owner) is incredible! She was so kind and welcoming to us, but above all, she is a tremendous teacher. She showed us how to make our fluid art boards and trays and we all really enjoyed ourselves! Communication to set up the bridal shower event was 10/10, Lorna made it so easy. Also, her artistic talents are displayed throughout her entire studio!! I would recommend Art In the Cape to anyone - whether you’re a beginner or you’re advanced in visual arts! Such a gem of a place in Cape Coral. Thank you so much for such an incredible time!

THE BEST! So much fun and what beautiful works of art! I took my nieces for a fun day of art and creativity. There are so many great pieces to choose to work on. We decided on a lazy susan and 2 cutting boards - all with a resin type of work on them. Lorna is amazing - really a sweetheart to work with - patient and very thorough. She makes sure that the piece will look beautiful and like a professional artist created it - even if you are a beginner! We had a blast - so much so - I want to bring my husband - they have some paddles for the boat he can work on or some fish to paint for his boat room. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great way to create some beautiful pieces for yourself or as a gift for a loved one! Also - a great girls day out - bridal shower or anything. I will be back for sure! Thank you Lorna - you are the best!!!

We did a Ladies Night Out event here. Lorna’s shop is filled with beautiful artworks that inspire one’s creativity. A table for food and beverage was provided. She was so patient and helpful as she assisted us in doing a fluid paint pour. I love the board I made and had a great time doing it with friends. I would highly recommend her shop even if you aren’t artistic.

So much fun on our vacation! Lorna is THE BEST! We were vacationing on Captiva Island and drove to the area to visit family for the day. We had heard about how great the studio was so we stopped in Hands on Art Gallery, so the kids could make a souvenir coconut to take home...what a blast they had! Our boys are 12 and 15 and they had more fun painting the coconuts than we could have imagined. It was a great way to stay out of the blazing sun for a 1/2 day. I painted one, as well, and it was fun and easy to do and turned out great! Lorna, the owner, was so helpful and patient and enthusiastic with all of us. She is truly a natural at teaching kids how to do art and showing us step by step how to do the projects. The studio is so cool with all kinds of mediums and art projects that kids and adults can do-we will definitely be back as soon as we come back to Florida!

Art in the Cape is our new favorite place, well for months already really. Lorna the owner, who has an awesome sweet personality has so much creative artist talent which shows as she helps us complete our projects which there are so many to choose from. I haven’t taken one of her workshops yet but will try soon. It is so much fun to doing any of the projects either with the many different to learn different artistic ways Go to Art In the Cape FB page to see the many type of projects that are available and choose what type. When you arrive in the studio you will be in awe of all of the already made projects hanging on the walls and the projects to choose from and also all of the extra additions to your projects like shells, beads and many more which are included in the reasonable charge for the project you choose or if you have a special item you want to put on your project you can bring that in for your design. Take time to go and make a project. It is very relaxing believe it or not and so much fun! Thank you Lorna!
